Game 1 of the NBA Finals is here. The Warriors vs the Cavaliers: The 4th Chapter. Wow, what a game. The Cavaliers are considered the underdogs to win their 2nd NBA championship. With that said, Cleveland came out hungry to take Game 1. Lebron James lead the charge scoring a game high 51 points to keep the Cavaliers close against the charging Warriors. The Cavaliers had a chance to win after Hill missed his free throw late in the 4th quarter (4 seconds left). J.R. Smith makes the incredible rebound but fails to shoot the basketball before time expires. The Cavaliers forced overtime against the Warriors! For Cleveland, it went down hill sadly. You don't want to give your opponent a second chance to win if you can. And the Warriors took advantage by coming out and taking complete control in overtime. The Warriors had balance scoring from their Big 3 (Durant 26, Steph 29, Klay 24). Draymond made some big plays (13 points, 2 blocks, 11 rebounds and 9 assists) as well as the Warriors defeat the Cavaliers 124-114. Game 1 is in the books as the Warriors defended their home court.
