Believe it or not I've been doodling for years to try and make ends meet, Steemit just seems to be the platform these days where I can maximize exposure. It's been an interesting learning experience from going to gag artist to actually having some type of demand.
I try to bring my own off brand of humour to the platform. Some people hate it, yet others like you really dig the work.. And that is why I do it. (that and to sustain my own heavy self circlejerk)

I like to fiddle in Photoshop and have a quirky creative style of humor. I respect your craft. You get to express your humor through a cool medium. It adds to other peoples posts and I like the occasional song and when you call people out.
You seem like a very free spirit (I may be wrong but I'd guess you may partake in a certain herb. You guessed it! Basil! Who doesn't love a nice bit of basil haha).
I think you could set up a story using some cool animal characters in some sort of comic book series. Or make some funny birthday cards to sell. You could definitely do some Gary Larson far side cartoon type work. I'd Google him if you are unfamiliar. Working to your strengths in art is a great strategy for you. If I can ever be of help to you, please let me know!

wow cool. I made a post 4 weeks ago and got 1900 for it and I could not believe it.
