Well i think it depends on the following:
We don't always learn from our mistakes. Sometimes we are ignorant and fail to see or accept that we are doing wrong. Other times we fail to see what we are doing wrong.

Also some people tend to be more passive and thus will take less action and make less mistakes than others and thus have less oppertunities to learn.

People are different and learn in different speeds. Some recover more quickely from their mistakes than others.

All in all don't be scared to make mistakes just do it and don't forget to reflect and admit your mistakes.
