For all the obvious urban delights found in Bangkok or Pattaya's buzzing streets, sometimes you simply got to hit the road for a refreshing change of scenery. At only a 3-hour drive from Bangkok or a little over 2 from Pattaya, Koh Samet with its palm tree-lined beaches, soft white sand and clear water offers you one of the easiest exotic island getaways from the city.
Here are a few pictures of my latest trip that I managed to squeeze in between celebrating Thailand's wet & wild crazy Songkran in Bangkok and Pattaya.
