No. Konohamaru will not be as strong as Naruto. Naruto is one of the strongest beings in existence. He defeated the rival of the best ninja in history. He defeated the original wielder of chakra. Naruto is very overpowered and Konohamaru can't even hope to match that power because he didn't win the eugenics lottery.

Anywho he did defeat one of Pien's bodies all by himself with strategy and sharp analysing his foe .
You are right maybe not as strong as Naruto but he will definitely be great .
