I made this image composition of this great tourism board photograph which comes up #1 on Google Images for Seoul South Korea, and I added the official steemit logo, the open source steem logo and the smart media token logo.
Then I decided to make one for EOS, and found this amazing image of a futuristic Seoul from the movie Cloud Atlas.
This is all because @ned the Steemit Inc CEO has been travelling around South Korea and is posting a LOT more than normal!

This sign and the lecture and his tour it is all so amazing I am so proud of Ned for traveling and selling steem to the tech students of the most advanced blockchain country on Earth! Korea is the most well adapted crypto nation with the most crypto enthusiasts and investors, they are just the one country where Crypto is more popular than anywhere else so Bravo to @ned for choosing Korea to travel to. And the newfound peace between North and South allows me to talk about Korea as one nation again, as we see the official end to the Korean War and the economic growth of the north can soon begin and the South will make a lot of money revitalizing the North. It will be a spectacular feat of economic upgrading when we see the North become like the South.
Once the North is opened up, Steem can begin helping North Koreans to earn money online after South Korean companies help fund a basic 4g network in big cities and give smartphones to North Koreans. Now that will be something Steem can help with as there is a newfound VALUE of EVERY North Korean Citizen, who will now get internet and will be able to post online to make money, in a way that south Koreans could not. North Koreans have this amazing opportunity to post online and get millions of views, because any media that comes out of North Korea is rare and hard to find so every North Korean Citizen can now start blogging, vlogging and showing off the transformation of the DPRK into a more Open Society and use that money to build new personal capital for themselves to help transform the very psychology of the economic system.

I love the crypto energy coming out of Korea and their support for Steem. Check these google trends stats for how Korea is one of the top steem countries!

South Korea is listed as the #3 country on Google Trends stats for Steemit. That is very impressive for how small S. Korea is by population compared to all there other countries they have to compete with on that list! There are some big S. Korean companies that are planning on building their own SMT infrastructure and apps and we will just see so many new apps that use steem blockchain.
Steem is definitely going to $10 then $50 then $100. This is going to be huge, big companies will buy steempower and delegate out to employees. We will see MASSIVE on boarding after Hardfork20 and a major marketing/advertising campaign once steem is READY for that. Steem is SUCH a powerful Social media tool but ALSO a financial tool that competes with Paypal, Western Union and more!
We still have to upgrade the blockchain to ensure we CAN handle millions of new users, but then we will have Television and youtube ads for steem! Steem will get so big that we will have our own Steem Studios making Steem original Series like Netflix and Amazon have! Steem is going to get so big that you will see Steem Gift cards!

Cool, Glad were both thinking similar things here, I upvoted your post and got @tytran to upvote it too. I hope we are right and we get Steem to penetrate into North Korea and not just the South. But even just the South on its own is an amazing economic engine of growth and will be an incredible investment no matter what. But imagine if the south has the North to utilize. I mean there must be some major low cost labor value the North can offer, plenty of things from a media perspective can be seen here like the rare look inside north koreran life can be made possible by steem blockchain. People don't want to support a bad regime I get that but we cannot punish an entire country for the crimes of one leader. We must REALIZE that Nothing is stopping North Koreans from joining steem, but on MOST other major platforms North Koreans would be banned automatically and so we see Steem as the one place where this can actually happen. I am sure ned is having plenty of news relevant talks with plenty of Koreans all about this North and South Korea impending Unification :D It means peace not just for the Korean Peninsula but for the entire East Asia Region!
