Most of Korean live in apartment and similar environmet in the city

Most of Korean would like to live in and near the city especially Seoul. I am not sure where you live in each of your own country, however, this is true in Korea. There are huge advantages as follows.

• Clear Community based on three-dimensional area and its sense of belonging.
• Consistent and unified way of house mangement
• Collected power to keep their apartments' value

So we can save heaps of our effort on house!
This is national compatitiveness. We can utilize the time saved from freedom of house mangement and maintenance cost for economy of scale with apartment culture. If you are not worth to live in apartment, you can take "Villa" which is smaller and chepaer option to live. Quality of house is not better thean apartment but life style is similar to apartment. It has community because there are many same designed buildings in high density.

This is what I am thinking on Korean housing culture. I guess yuou might smell I don't have good impression on it. This might be biased, however, I can list up the disadvantages. Still I am not sure I am right or not. If you have a chance to get objective criteria, it could be the opinion from vast majority in the society and I have wrong opinion. That's true. Please checkthis disadvantages. Even the people living in the apartment know and feel this is a sort of troublesome.

1. Although the housing price is much lower than the other Mega cities like Vancouver, New York, Singapore and London, housing price is very high in the city if you consider Koreans' salary.
2. The apartment has many discomports such as inter layer noise, due condensation and mold because of a lot of corruption in the construction area to save expense in order to maximize profit for company or illegall selfish interests and desires.
3. Environmental hormone from concrete constructions which is not helpful for famillies' health.

When it comes to think about increasing wealth and money from house, I am looser from the apartments' league. But I would like to believe that I've chosen a better life pattern for my famillies' health and special experience in our lives. This will help us for more than 20 years.
