I understand it when people feel fear, when they express their desire to feel safe rather than sorry. I also understand it when people feel faith, when they express their desire to feel trust rather than fear. But understanding people doesn't imply that I agree with them. Only the faithful do what is godly. Those who fear are unbelievers, not just in God, but also in themselves. If we want to return to our Father, faith must overcome fear.

I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time analyzing the motivation of liberal pundits on any given issue. Just figure out what position Trump is promoting and you can be assured that they are on the other side of the argument. Consider their recent support of MS-13 after Trump called them animals. Liberal pundits are not very bright. That doesn't mean they are always wrong. Their reflexive support of free trade in opposition to Trump's tariffs reinforces the old adage, "even blind squirrels find a nut sometimes."
