날이 갈수록 심해지는 한국의 가뭄문제, Severe drought in Korea

현재 한국의 농업 경제는 점점 더 심해지는 가뭄 문제 때문에 비상이 걸렸다.
더위가 예상보다 일찍 찾아오고, 비는 적게 내리면서 중부지방에 4년째 가뭄이 찾아온 것이다. 본인 또한 한국에서 평균 강수량이 가장 적은 지역에서 생활하는데 시원한 비를 맞아본 기억이 없다보니 가뭄이 체감적으로 다가오는 오늘이다.
그럼 이제 본격적으로 한국의 가뭄으로 어떤 피해가 있는지, 그 원인은 무엇인지 알아보자.
At present, Korea 's agricultural economy has been hit by an increasingly severe drought problem.
The heat came earlier than anticipated, and the rain was less, and the drought came in the central region of Korea for the fourth year. I also live in an area with the lowest average rainfall in Korea, and I do not remember seeing a cool rain, so the drought is gradually felt.
So, let's see what kind of damage is caused by drought in Korea and why.

최근 한국은 비가 많이 오지 않는 실정으로 강수량이 평년 대비 절반 수준에 미치고 있다. 국민 안전처에서는 이와 같은 문제로 2017년 5월 가뭄 경보를 발표했고, 매스컴에서도 연일 가뭄 문제에 대한 우려를 나타내고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 정부에서도 가뭄 문제에 대한 대책을 마련하려고 하고 있지만 이렇다 할 확실한 해결책이 나오지 않아 골머리를 썩히고 있는 지금이다.
Recently, there is not much rain in Korea. The National Security Agency announced a drought warning in May 2017 due to the drought problem, and the media is showing concern about the drought problem every day. In addition, the government is trying to provide measures against the drought problem, but now it is getting worse because there is no definite solution.

물론 비가 오지 않는 것도 심각한 가뭄의 문제이지만 일찍 찾아온 폭염 때문에 수분 증발량이 증가한 것도 하나의 원인으로 꼽힌다.
Of course, not having rain is a serious drought problem, but one of the reasons is that the amount of water evaporation has increased due to an early heat wave.

이런 강수량 감소와 일찍 찾아온 폭염 때문인지,
Because of the decrease in precipitation and the early heat wave,

저수지의 바닥은 마를대로 마른 상태고,
The bottom of the reservoir has dried up like a desert,

이 영향으로 어민들의 조업문제, 농작물 피해, 산간지역 식수문제는 계속해서 심각해지고 있다.
As a result, fishing problems, crop damage, and drinking water in the mountains have become serious.

이런 대 가뭄 시대의 근본적인 원인은 '기후변화'에 있다고 볼 수 있는데, 이 때문에 한국이 마른 장마의 연속선상에 위치하게 된 것이다.
The fundamental cause of this drought is 'climate change', which is why Korea is located on a continuous line of dry rainy seasons.

남태평양 고기압이 발생하면서 장마전선이 위로 올라와야 가뭄 해결의 시발점이 될텐데, 심해진 엘니뇨 현상 때문에 장마전선이 북상하지 못하고 밑에서 머무르고 있는 상태이다.
If there is a high pressure in the South Pacific, the rainy season will rise and the rain will come down. But, It is under the condition that the rainy season is not able to go north because of the deepened El Niño phenomenon.

더욱 더 걱정되는 것은 지금 한국이 한반도의 대 가뭄 주기 초입에 위치해있다는 것이다.
사진에서 보면 알 수 있듯이, 한반도의 대가뭄 주기에는 38년 주기와 124년 주기가 있다. 2015년부터 2025년까지는 38년 주기와 124년 주기가 겹치는 위치로 현재 한국이 이 주기에 들어섰음을 알 수 있다.
What is even more worrisome is that Korea is now at the beginning of the drought season. As you can see from the photographs, there are 38 years and 124 years of drought period on Korea. From 2015 to 2025, the 38th and 124th cycles overlap, indicating that Korea is now in the cycle.

이 같은 이유들로 한반도의 가뭄이 극심해진 상태고, 한국의 농업경제를 위해서라도이제는 단순히 문제를 지켜보는 것이 아니라 직접적인 해결방법이 필요해보인다.
For these reasons, the drought on the Korean has become extreme, and even for the Korean agricultural economy, it seems that a direct solution is needed instead of just watching the problem.
