I was freaking the fuk out. About an hour ago there was an earthquake in Pohang, a city in the most south-east corner of South-Korea. The buildings were shaking all the way up in Seoul, alarms were going off and people looked at each other in my office.
I grabbed my parachute that I weaved out of the cotton that I found in cigarette filters over the last 3 years and was about to James Bond the fuk out of the 13th floor of my office building.
I work in an all-korean work environment and surprisingly no one seemed to care about what the fuk was going on. Noone flinched, no one even considered leaving their cubicles.
30 minutes later, someone announces that our floor manager has bought everybody coffee downstairs. I've never seen 25 people jumping over their cubicles and trying to squeeze in a tiny ass elevator before.
