South Korea's Kim Hyo-joo Wins LPGA Lotte Championship!

Kim Hyo-joo of South Korea beat Hinako Shibuno of Japan by two shots to win the LPGA Lotte Championship on Saturday.

At Hoakalei Country Club in Hawaii, Kim teed off with a three-shot lead and was four up following birdies on the fifth and eighth holes.Shibuno of Japan, who birdied the fourth and 11th holes, was within one stroke of Kim after bogeying the ninth and 17th.

But the South Korean finished on a high note with a birdie. At the par-five 18th, she missed the green, but her wedge from the rough rolled within a foot of the cup, giving her a one-shot victory over Shibuno, who was in a greenside bunker.

Kim shot a one-under par 71 for a 277 total of 11 under par. She won her sixth LPGA win, which includes a major triumph at the 2014 Evian Championship, which she won before joining the LPGA Tour.
