The trilingual track also hits No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
Super Junior is already one of K-pop's most pioneering acts, but now the boy band has hit a new milestone on the Billboard charts.

The group's new single "Lo Siento" with Leslie Grace and Play-N-Skillz debuts at No. 13 on Billboard's Latin Digital Song Sales chart this week, a first for K-pop acts and marking new territory for the Korean-music scene. "Lo Siento" also debuts at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, tying Super Junior's best appearance on the chart when their 2011 single "A-Cha" also hit No. 2, and No. 4 on the Latin Pop Digital Song Sales chart. The collaborative track sold 2,000 digital copies, according to Nielsen Music.
"Lo Siento" is the lead single off Replay, Super Junior's deluxe repackaged album of 2017's Play. The new release debuts at No. 2 on Billboard's World Albums chart for the top-selling new K-pop album this week. The released sold 1,000 traditional album units.

While Korean acts have successfully toured Latin and South America for a few years, the cultures do not typically mix their music. The closest contender the Latin and K-pop music communities have is when Mexican boy band CD9 teamed up with viral girl group Crayon Pop for 2016 single "Get Dumb" that included both an English and a "K-Mex" version, the latter including Spanish, Korean and English. The songs did not chart, but saw its official music video earn more than three million views.
