순우리말 알리기 프로젝트 #2. 갈맷빛

　

　

안녕하세요 느루 입니다.
오늘도 안녕하신가요?
저는 오늘도 대한민국의 청년으로써! 열심히 일하고 왔습니다.

오늘은아름다운 순우리말 알리기 프로젝트 두번째 시간입니다.

오늘 소개해드릴 순우리말은 바로 《 갈맷빛 》 입니다.

갈맷빛이란 푸른빛이 돌 정도로 짙은 초록색을 일컫는 순우리말입니다.

'초록' 이 한자어라는 것 알고 계셨나요?

물론 한자어가 나쁜건 아니지만
초록이란 단어 자체를 순수 한글로 알고 계신 분들이 많더라구요

초록은 草綠, 풀 초와 푸를 록자를 쓴 글자입니다 :D
초록의 순 우리말이 바로 갈매, 갈맷빛 인것이지요

　

하얀 무명저고리에 갈매빛으로 물들인 무명바지를 입은
홍이가-임이네는 남의 아이들같이 아무렇게나 옷을 입히는 법이 없었다

갈맷빛은 박경리 작가님의 토지에서 특히 많이 나오는 단어이기도 합니다.

사실 하얀 무명저고리에 갈맷빛으로 물들인 무명바지를 입은 아씨를
그려오고 싶었는데, 그리다가 그림이 삭제되어버렸어요(오열)

오늘은 세상 아쉬운 마음으로 캘리만 전합니다.

두번째 순우리말로 갈맷빛을 정한 이유는 맑은 공기가 그리워서입니다 :D

미세먼지로 숨쉬기 힘든 요즘같은 날,

갈맷빛으로 우거진 숲속에 들어가 숨 한번 크게 쉬고 오고 싶네요!

　

　

아쉽고도 텁텁한 마음 가득 안고 오늘도 느루는 이만 물러가도록 하겠습니다
