음악을 사랑하는 이들의 성지 _ 러프 트레이드 뉴욕
ROUGH TRADE NYC
브루클린 윌리엄스버그에 영국의 유명한 ROUGH TRADE(러프 트레이드) NYC가 있습니다. 러프 트레이드는 1976년 런던 노팅힐에서 시작된 인디 음악 레이블이면서 음반가게로 오래된 음반부터 최신 음악까지 그리고 미국부터 유럽 아시아까지 다양한 장르를 다루고 있습니다. 이곳 뉴욕에서는 2013년 11월에 오픈하였습니다. CD, LP 등 음반 이외에도 음악관련 다양한 서적과 작은 카페도 있어서 커피를 마시면서 음악을 듣거나 놓여있는 책을 읽으면서 시간을 즐기실 수 있습니다. 그리고 스토어 한쪽에는 무대공간이 있어서 무명 밴드의 데뷔무대부터 인지도 있는 인디밴드까지 라이브 공연을 즐길 수 있습니다. 이날도 공연이 있었는데요. 인기 밴드의 공연이었는지 길 밖까지 길게 줄이 늘어서 있었습니다. 이곳에서 라이브 공연을 보고싶으시다면 공식웹사이트에서 공연 스케쥴을 확인하시고 방문하는것도 좋을 것 같습니다.
매장에 들어서면 낡은 컨테이너박스의 인테리어가 인상적입니다. 매장 중심은 역시나 LP가 메인 자리를 차지했네요. 매장에는 CD플레이어도 설비가 되어 있어서 천천히 듣고싶은 음악을 감상하실 수 있습니다. LP 등 플레이어도 판매하고 있어서 충동구매를 하실 수도 있습니다. 그리고 영국 자전거 브랜드 BROMPTON과 콜라보한 카페도 눈에 띕니다.
귀여운 BROMPTON 카페_ 같은 윌리엄스버그에 있는 Toby's Estate Coffee를 사용하고 있네요.
라이브공연 입구_ 왼쪽편에 길게 늘어선 줄이 라이브 공연에 입장하려는 사람들입니다.
MISSING GUITARIST_ 기타리스트 구인광고가 너무 귀여웠습니다.
공연을 기다리는 사람들_ 좋아하는 공연을 즐기기 위해서는 기다림도 즐겁습니다.

뉴욕가이드 포스팅에 관해
뉴욕의 카페나 스토어 등 소개는 뉴욕 가이드라는 시리즈로 포스팅 하려고 합니다(타이틀이 마음에 안들어서 나중에 바뀔수 있음). 나름 예쁘게 만들어볼려고 지도를 그려봤는데 맨하탄을 그리고 브루클린을 그린다는게 맨하탄 지도에 시간을 너무 많이 뺏겨서 새로운 지도는 다음에 업데이트 하겠습니다. 읽어주셔서 감사합니다. 편집은 @kyunga님 소스를 사용했습니다.
