꽃이 피고 지고
산과 들 향연이 펼쳐져도
모른 척 잠만 자는구나

명 짧은 기다림 못 기다려
가지 꺾어 살펴보니
죽은 것도 산 것도 아니라

에라
죽어도 네팔자 살아도 네팔자
죽었거든 복날 닭 삶는 아궁이
땔감으로 쓰면 될 것이고

그래도 살았다면 긴긴 겨울밤
사랑 궂도 모자라
아직도 방문 걸어 잠겄으니

얼굴 붉혀 숨지 말고
알록달록
주렁주렁 뽐내봐라

벼룩도 낯짝이 있다는데
비아냥 소리에 심기 불편했나
이틀이나 내리는 비에 숨어
슬며시 얼굴을 내미는데

아니 뭔 놈의 분칠을 했기에
반들 반들 번쩍번쩍
지나가는 새색시도 부러워
가던 걸음 멈춰본다


만질 만질
반질 반질한 대추 나무 새순을
신통해서 출근길에 한참 봤던
청평에 천운

                          어릴 적 집 마당에 대추나무가 있었습니다. 가을이면 가지가 축 늘어지도록 대추가 주렁주렁 열렸었습니다. 파란 대추도 붉은 대추도 나름 다 맛이 있었습니다.
