신촌은 한산했다. 거리는 사람들로 북적이던 예전과 달라 조용했다. 쇼핑몰로 들어서니, 각 층은 고객의 부재로 적막했다. 직원들은 단지 서 있었을 뿐이다. 이런 상황이 지속된다면, 쇼핑몰 입점은 끝이 날 것이다. 직원들도 다른 기회를 찾아야 한다. 결국 누군가와 자리 싸움이 벌어질 것이다. 그런 생각이 걱정이 된다.
