스팀은 보팅 남용을 막기위해 업보트(Upvote)를 누를때마다 보팅파워(Voting Power)가 감소하도록 설계하였습니다.
수익극대화를 위해서는 하루에 몇번보팅해야할까?
지속적으로 100%풀보팅을 하여도 보팅파워에 따라 보팅금액이 달라지는것은 모두 알고 계실겁니다.
또한 보팅파워는 현재 보팅파워수준에 관계없이 일정하게 24시간당 20%씩 채워집니다. 이는 스팀 백서를 통해 확인할수 있는사실입니다.

따라서 어떤 분들은 하루에 12번만 보팅을 해서 높은 80%~100%의 보팅비율을 유지하는것이 수익을 극대화 하는것이라 생각하실수 있습니다. 하지만 보팅을 할때마다 감소하는 보팅비율이 일정하지 않은것에 주목할 필요가 있습니다.
100% 풀보팅을 하였을경우 현재남은 총 보통파워의 2%씩 감소하게 됩니다.
즉

- 98%
- 96%
- 94%
- ...
식으로 감소하는것이 아니라
- 100%
- 98%
- 96.04% = (98% x (1- 0.02))
- 94.119% = (96.04 x (1-0.02))
- 92.237%
- 90.392%
- 88.584%
- 86.812%
- 85.076%
- 83.375%
- 81.707%
- 80.073%
이런식으로 보팅파워가 감소합니다.
즉, 수익을 극대화 시키는 보팅횟수는 정해져 있지 않습니다. 보팅파워가 낮아지면 보팅금액이 낮아지는것은 사실이지만 보팅파워가 낮으면 낮을수록 한번보팅할때마다 보팅파워차감률이 낮아지기때문에 결국에 수익은 같습니다.
