약사 유리광 칠불 본원 공덕경

또한 어떤사람이 기도를 올릴 적에는

1. 마땅히 칠불 여래 부처님의 형상을 조성하여
2. 정결한 처소에 모시고
3. 여러 가지 향화, 깃발과 일산과 좋은 음식과
4. 온갖 풍악을 가지고 공양하며
5. 아울러 보살들과 여러 천신(天神)을 공양하고
   불상 앞에 단정히 앉아, 신주(神呪)를 외우되
6. 7일 동안 8재계를 지키면서
7. 이 다라니를 1008번 (천팔 번)을 외운다면
   여러 부처님과 보살들이 모두 호념하시고
   또한 집금강(執金剛)보살과
   제석천, 범천과 사천왕들도 와서 그 사람을 옹호하여

1. 다섯 가지 무간죄와 일체 업장이 다 소멸하며
2. 병 없이 수명을 늘이고
3. 또한 잘못 죽는 일과
4. 모든 전염병과
5. 다른 나라가 국가경계를 침범하려는 것과
6. 다투고 전쟁하는 것과
7. 서로 간에 소송하며 언수지는 것과
8. 생계가 끊어지게 되고
9. 경제가 어려워져서 삶의 희망이 없어지는 것 등
   10)일체의 모든 화난이 모조리 제거되어
   11)그 모두가 마치 부모처럼 자비한 마음을 내게 되며
   원하던 바가 뜻대로 되지 않음이 없을 것이니라.(8-35)

Also, when a person makes a prayer, he should

1. He should make an image of the seven Buddhas and nirvana.
2. and enshrine them in a purified place
3. with many kinds of incense, banners, sunflowers, and good food.
4. with all kinds of good and evil offerings.
5. and offerings to bodhisattvas and other heavenly beings.
   and sit before the statue of the Buddha, and recite the mantras.
6. Observing the eight precepts for seven days
7. Recite this Dharani 1008 times (one thousand eight hundred times).
   all the buddhas and bodhisattvas will favor you.
   Also, the bodhisattva Jipinggang
   the First Heaven, the Second Heaven, the Third Heaven, and the Four Heavenly Kings will also come to that person's defense and say

1. The five unwholesome sins and all the karmic accumulations disappeared.
2. He was granted a long life without illness
3. And the wrongful death
4. All epidemics
5. from other nations invading the boundaries of the country
6. quarrels and wars
7. people suing and arguing with each other
8. livelihoods being cut off
9. economic hardships that cause people to lose hope in life, etc.
10. that all anger of any kind is removed from them.
11. and everyone becomes compassionate, like a parent.
    and no one will fail to get what he wants." (8-35)
