약사 유리광 칠불 본원 공덕경

좋소 좋소 집금강이여,
불가사이(不可思異)한 다라니를 참으로 잘 말씀하셨습니다.
이에 칠불 여래 부처님께서 말씀하셨다
그대가 설한 바 일체 중생을 이롭게 하기 위한 이 신주(神呪)를
옹호하여 모두 다 안락함을 얻도록 하고 소원이 원만히 이루어지게
할 것이며 또한 이 신주가 세상에서 없어지지 않도록 호념할 것이니라.

그리고 다시 칠불 여래 부처님은
모든 보살과 제석천과 범천과 사천왕들에게 이르시기를
우리가 지금 이 신주와 경전을 그대들에게 부탁하여 맡기노니
이 다음 오백년을 지나서 불법이 없어지려고 할 무렵에
그대들은 마땅히 이 경전을 잘 옹호하고 지니도록 하여라.(8-41)

Good, good, good, Zipingang,
you have indeed spoken well of the mysterious Dharani.
Then the Blessed One said
"As you have explained, this deity for the benefit of all sentient beings
for the benefit of all sentient beings, so that they may all find comfort and have their wishes fulfilled.
and that this deity may not disappear from the world.

And again the Blessed One said
said to all the bodhisattvas, the first and second heavenly beings, the great heavenly beings, and the four thousand kings
"We now entrust this shrine and the sutras to you.
When the next five hundred years have passed, and the Dharma is about to cease to exist.
you may uphold and keep this sutra as you see fit." (8-41)
