오늘 소개해 드릴 내용은 시각장애인을 위한 스마트워치'Dot Watch'입니다.

전세계 2억 8천 5백만의 시각장애인중 95%가 점자 문맹입니다. 점자책 번역률은 1%이고 전자 점자리더기의 가격은 200만원 이상입니다. 시각장애인의 점자교육 포기 비율 역시 굉장히 높기에 스마트한 점자 시계로 이런 문제들을 해결하기 위해 나온 제품입니다.

심플하고도 착용하기에 부담감이 없는 디자인입니다.

닷 워치에서 [홈 – 선택 – 홈 – 선택] 버튼을 3초간 누르면 촉각 모드로 진입합니다. 촉각 모드에서는 점자를 모르더라도 올라오는 점의 개수를 세서 시간을 확인할 수 있습니다. 왼쪽의 12점은 '시'를, 오른쪽 12점은 ' 분'을 나타냅니다.

[촉각 모드]에서는 심플하고 직관적인 형태로 배터리 시간, 블루투스 연결 상태 등을 손쉽게 확인할 수 있습니다.

어디서나 점자로 E-BOOK을 읽을 수 있습니다.

스마트 워치 기능에는 시계 / 알람 / 메신저 / 근거리 네비게이션 / Bluethooth 4.0 기능을 제공합니다.

    아이폰이 칭찬받아 마땅한 이유중에 하나가 시각장애인을 위한 완벽한 폰 중 하나이기 때문이래요.
    수익성이 나지 않아도 그들을 위해 많은 개발을 한다고 하더라구요.

    그런 아이폰과, 이런 시계가 같이 쓰인다면 많은 사람들이 편하게 살 수 있을 거 같아요 ^^;
