[Travels in My Country No. 2][Suncheon] A Path Along Suncheon Bay Garden

in kr •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hi!
I am a travel writer living in Korea.
I have published three books so far and have been posting travel related stories and information at Steemit. In a bid to introduce Korea to the Steemians living abroad,
I would love to tell you episodes about traveling in Korea.
In addition, I am going to share stories about hotels including those in other countries.
I hope you show many interests in the stories of my country.
Thank you!

Korea's first national garden is filled with beautifully bloomed flowers.

Suncheon is such an honest city.

The people are humble and so are the food. The tourist city is not artificially decorated and they emphasize on nature. Suncheon Bay Garden was also like that. It doesn't seem presentable, yet it is meticulously decorated well. Of course, nature always is the first priority.

It's a good place to stay for long strolls.

The garden isn't just a tourist spot you pass by while in Suncheon. It's hard to leave Suncheon Bay Garden once you enter and feel its charm. You might lose all of your time just for one beautiful flower. The site is incredibly large as well. The theme gardens of different countries are also another attraction for tourists.

It's a place worth just gazing at.

It would be an over statement to say that Suncheon Bay Garden and Suncheon Bay Eco Park makes up 99% of Suncheon. You don't have to go or see every corner in the garden. Just sit anywhere and gaze at anywhere, and it will get your mind to get off things.

It's nice to meet you, poppy.

A beautiful flower which was named after the most beautiful woman during Tang Dynasty.

Brings me back memories.
Metasequoia Road.

It was a first trip I went alone. It reminded me of Metasequoia Road in Damyang. Sitting in between the endless trees and feeling the breeze hit on me. This recollection of jumping on the first train in the morning just to see the trees.

Suncheon Bay Garden, a place to be within nature.

It's a garden known as the first national garden of Korea. Although there are many tourists, Suncheon citizens' consideration and attention helped to preserve it until now. The most moving thing about the 5th natural wetland of the world, Suncheon Bay Eco Park, is that its continuous presentation of nature is owed to people's constant consideration.

I thought that nature could be harmed for product development for the purpose of profiting from tourists. But when I look back at it, it was very well preserved. I hope that Suncheon Bay Garden will be preserved well in the future so in my next visit, I can feel this happy recollection once again.

그쵸? 예전에 내나라여행 한글로 올렸었는데, 이건 @ciceron 주최로 외국인을 위한 번역 포스팅인데, 외국인들에게 노출이 참 쉽지가 않네요^^;
