[Travels in My Country No. 3][Suncheon] Strollilng in Suncheon Drama Film Set

Hi!
I am a travel writer living in Korea.
I have published three books so far and have been posting travel related stories and information at Steemit. In a bid to introduce Korea to the Steemians living abroad,
I would love to tell you episodes about traveling in Korea.
In addition, I am going to share stories about hotels including those in other countries.
I hope you show many interests in the stories of my country.
Thank you!

Actually, I have been to countless drama sets and filming studios but I never miss to visit one while travelling. It feel like I am free from the city. It's like a village from a storybook that feels relaxing.

There are many cute and adorable wall paintings along the path to Suncheon Drama Film Set
As if it's hinting that the entrance isn't far away.

The scene of an old Korean village, that you might see in movies or films, is right in front of your eyes. Lightly strolling around the place is enough.

What would life have been like in this age?

I wonder if what we see in dramas and films is everything. Or if it's only part of it. I remember what elders used to say when they see the old days on television,

"We used to be like that. The world has grown so much."

When we have grandchildren, we would say the same.
Like human life, nothing is eternal.

View of a cute classroom

I want to study in a classroom like this at least once. Sitting on a squeaking wooden chair, sharing a desk with a classmate and eating lunchboxes. Daily school lives that I reminisce.

The oldest scene that I felt in Suncheon Drama Film Set.

Each building has been preserved as they were and paintings were done to only a few of them. The short wooden bridge that connects the paths was also impressive.

This neighborhood didn't actually exist and it's only a set... It was fun to browse around each alley.

How would it feel to live in this kind of neighborhood?

Each home is 5 meters apart from each other, there are no fences, and certainly no privacy. But it might be even more fun. Especially, the neighbors would have great relationships with each other just like family.

I visit drama and film sets often. Yet, because it makes people contemplate this was definitely a must-visit place even though I know what to expect.
