I was reading the comments, and I agree, steemit is the best social network that exists and practically the only one I use.
But we do not have to say only the good. We have to say the positive and the negative.
And this is a good place to say them.
Steemit has many positive things. Maybe the majority. But he also has negatives that have to be kept in mind.
One of the negatives is the bad distribution of wealth.

where very few have much and many have very little.

On the other hand, I do not know if it should be prohibited , but we must create awareness that votes should not be bought. For there to be sellers, there must be buyers.

I really liked your opinion hence I followed you @matuca. You're opinion is more about transparency and fairness when it comes to wealth distribution. I'm new, but I liked the idea that people who does the work should earn more based on that good work. But isn't the creation of decentralization of the blockchain based on that concept of idea? Anyhow, I read an article that EOS IO is going to be super great. It's okay to have steemit and EOS (whenever it's launched) account, is it not? Great work, Ned. I pretty new to steemit. I did invest in a small way to build my blog and I am super happy with the results. Steem and steemit is a wonderful invention and I can only guess the amount of work it takes to keep it growing and moving. I hope you have some really good people working with you. If you should be reading this comment, I want to say thank you. But I would also like to ask you to reconsider the parameters for appearing on the log in page. Could I suggest you make it a curated affair. That log in page is our business card to the internet world and it should put our best face forward. Could you imagine if the Tesla home page featured negative articles about Tesla and nonsense talk about Elon Musk? Or infighting memos. It might turn some people off and I can tell you inside steemit, one can control her own feed and the weather is fine, but that page is a bit of millstone around our neck. I do wish it reflected the community better and was truly working for everyone's best interests. I don't think it does. I think it works against us. That said, thanks again for the hard work:):):)

But a full blown update. We minnows are hanging all our hopes that SMTs will somehow create independence for us from the large whale accounts.
I know its about money first and foremost and i know those with deep pockets will always have an edge but i really want to be a creator and earn by doing what i love.
