예를 들어, 지난해 12월 시장이 급락하기에 앞서 주택 지표가 계속해서 약세를 보였었다.
최근 미국 주택 건축 협회 주택 시장 지수(The NAHB Housing Market Index)가 20개월 고점을 기록했다. 과거의 사례를 보자면, 20개월 고점을 기록했을 때마다 1년 후 S&P 500의 평균 수익률은 17%였다.
