불쑥, 가을이 온 것 같다.
이 여름을 버텨낸 모두가 한숨 돌리며 식은 땀을 닦아내고 있다.
사람들 표정이 한결 밝다. 심장이 사르르 떨리고 미소가 번져오는 것을 막을 수 없는 모양이다.
나도 그렇다.
불쑥 찾아온 새 계절처럼,
스팀시티도 길었던 여름방학을 끝내고, 오늘 불쑥 개학을 맞는다. 야호!
곧 새 여행을 떠난다.
가라앉은 스팀시티를 찾으러, 길 위에서 당신을 만나러.
2009년부터 써온 여권으로는 이 여행을 떠날 수 없다.
2019년 1월 8일부로 이 여권은 효력을 잃기 때문이다.
새로운 여권을 받아들면 더 새로운 기분이 들 것이다.
지난 10년을 정리하고, 새로운 10년을 시작한다.
이 여행에서,
꿈을 꾸는 사람들이 모여 지혜와 용기를 나눌 수 있기를.
행복한 순간에는 함께 웃고 노래하고 춤출 수 있기를.
그리고 마침내 꿈꿔왔던 것들을 하나둘 이룰 수 있기를.
