Today I was watching a video in which the Hollywood actor Will Smith said, "Being realistic is the most travelled road to mediocrity".
When we're realistic, we try to hesitate before setting goals for our conscience start telling us not to set that exact goals becuase maybe it'll be too hard to achieve.
... 'Setting the Goal' is the first and the most supreme step to success.
