MY FIRST MONTH AND MY CALLIGRAPHY COMEBACK

MY FIRST MONTH

Today is my First Monthsary on @steemit.

HOORAY! I survived!

While I was contemplating on my first days, mixed emotions rumble in a catch basin and thoughts come and go in an instant, faster than the speed of light.

I realized how I was adopted by @steemitachievers and embraced me as one of its kind…I was treated like a member of a family. I was and still I am blessed with so much welcome and guidance. A special mention and my sincerest gratitude to my big sister @zoeroces for introducing @steemit to me, and for always believing in my capacity and ability.

One of my most unforgettable beginner’s luck happened also during my first week when one of my earliest blogs got curried. I thank @curie for noticing my step-by-step tutorial of Blue Blood Moon on Watercolor although I am still young in this venture. That was indeed a great experience.

I also would want to thank @surpassinggoogle for inspiring me to keep going…to keep writing…to keep learning…to keep steeming. I can never give back all the upvotes he casted on my posts. Thank you for the support. Thank you for the hands that boost my confidence and hone the potentials hiding beneath my soul.

Honestly, these past few days the SBDs my posts have earned were somewhat depressing. My efforts were unseen. I wanted to quit. I didn’t want to write anymore. The energy that once had driven me well has banished…fluctuated…and lost. I got tired. I got sad. I was stressed out.

But on the other day, my golden photography post was again upvoted by @surpassinggoogle and my spirit went summit and it was mended. It banged my head to never stop, to keep going! It was like magic! Suddenly I wanted to write more. To do better. To be competitive. He is very influential to me even though we never have talked personally nor exchanged personal messages to each other.

In a month I have realized how steemit can either make you or destroy you. It is very challenging that it will try to crush the strength of your perseverance. But there is the popular saying that uplifts the spirit… ”NO MAN IS AN ISLAND.”

IN THIS PLATFORM, WE CAN NEVER MAKE IT ALONE.

Eventhough you are good in expressing yourself, eventhough how impressive your outputs are, eventhough you are exceptionally talented and spectacular…if you are aloof, if you are filled with diffidence, indifference, if you are selfish, and if you don’t communicate well with other steemians, you will never shine or succeed on steemit.

WE NEED COURAGE TO LURK IN THIS FAST GROWING SOCIETY.

We need to have a sense of brotherhood. We need to work hand-in-hand. And most of all we must be keen and sensitive enough to decipher when to provide help with our co-steemians. We should never let anyone left behind. Let us all together build a community of kindness.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.

Thank you everyone!

Godbless us all.

MY CALLIGRAPHY COMEBACK

Thanks to @korinkrafting 's calligraphy challenge, I was able to awaken the sleeping artistry in my veins.

The words to be interpreted are:
a. Heyo, March!
b. Graduation
c. Goodbye
d. Warmth
e. New Journey

I was so tired to do arts these past few weeks because of the array of activities and my work. But since I wanted to cooperate on the challenge, I insisted to myself that I must finish the five words before I sleep lastnight. So I began at 11:30 PM and finished at 2:00 AM.

For those who would want to do calligraphy just keep going...keep trying! As I always say, remember that we can all do arts. YES! All you have to do is put your heart on it...in everything that you do and you will be rewarded. Do not worry if it's not perfect it's still an art by the way so chin up and keep on doing things that you love and never stop learning.

IT IS ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO HAVE FUN!

Here's the materials:

IMG20180305232602-01.jpeg

-Watercolor
-Fine or Broad Markers (Black and Red)
-Paint brushes
-6x8 watercolor paper (cream)
-Calligraphy pen 2.0
-Uni pin Fine line 0.5 and 0.8
-Pencil

Here's how I did the five words:

I did not put any instructions anymore because I believe the photos explained the steps well.

HEYO, MARCH!
