That is, to insure one Bitcoin stored on Kraken, you need to pay only 0.0125 Bitcoin for 90 days of insurance. Bittrex and Coinbase ranked second and third in terms of safety and cost of insurance, which offer customers a rate of 1.5%. At MyEtherWallet and Poloniex, the digital asset insurance rate is 1.9%.
In early September, it was reported that the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange faced problems due to a breach of the platform’s security service.
