Principles to personally cultivate as you work on your start-up.

Many courses focus on the mechanics of creating a business but in addition there are some attitudes we can develop towards fundamental principles that will also improve our chances of success.
Improving our understanding of the principles and nurturing them will help us progress and develop the right attitude to the challenges we may come across in setting up our start-up.

Vision - without a big picture and something to strive for there is danger of things becoming a drudge. Start small, but dream big.

Work - there is no escaping it. There is also hard work and smart work. The level of each required will fluctuate, don't shy away from it.

Inspiration - take time to think and ponder over things. That encourages light-bulb moments to happen and they can make all the difference.

Persistence - No pain, no gain. Life is not all easy and so with business too, but those that endure reap the rewards.

Accountability - Being answerable, even if its only to ourselves, makes for increased productivity and ultimately prosperity.

Time Management - time is money is a cliche for a reason.

The power of small and simple things - great doors of opportunity swing on small hinges. Oil the smallest of hinges.

Commitment- understand what you are getting into and once in stick with it.
