Who surprised you?

My younger brother, literally.
I was 19 when I found out my mom was pregnant again. She didn't have to tell me, I was observant enough to figure it out on my own and my reaction wasn't very good. I thought "Another brother? I'm already old! I'm 20 years older than him!" Plus, I started picturing nights of him pooping and spitting up and crying and I immediately resented this unborn child.

Then he came in December, and a few days before Christmas, he and I fell in love.
He is the most beautiful little boy I have ever seen in my life.
I spent a lot of time with him, changing his diapers, cleaning up his drool, and putting up with his grooming.
He is now 5 years old and is very smart and full of energy. He is curious about everything and he likes to spend time with me. I want to come with him wherever I go. Here we are at the grocery store together.
We go on little adventures together.
He is headstrong and full of strong will. I can tell he's going to be the argumentative type when he grows up, so I'm trying to steer him toward law school!
My favorite little man surprised me, and I'm so glad he's in my life.
EDIT: Thanks for the kind responses!
On the question of people mistaking him for my child, absolutely! All the time! It felt really awkward at first, but now it's funny. A simple "No, he's my little brother" and "Our mother is still young" will do the job, ha!
On why I have an Indian name, I answered it here Can you tell us about your Indian sounding name?
I've answered another question on Lulu here What's the funniest thing your toddler believes?
