Maniruzzaman Prakash Shimul Chowdhury has been supporting the poor, destitute, elderly, disabled, sick and daughter-less fathers in the remote areas of Sandwip, distributing educational materials to students studying in schools and colleges, providing scholarships, distributing school bags, oxygen and lab essentials in health complexes. He has done a lot of humanitarian work including giving, sponsoring sports and cultural activities.
While distributing Iftar items, he said, "I have no political ambition or mentality to be a leader." I only get happiness or mental satisfaction by fulfilling my own needs and distributing the rest among people. So I am seeking prayers from all of you for myself and family members as I have no request.

Traditional Vidyapith Gachua Katgarh Islamia Fazil Degree Madrasa Dakhil 2002 batch "Bandhan 2002" on the initiative of Executive Council last 26th February 2024, Monday, Katgarh Islamia Fazil Degree Madrasa hall room through Holy Quran recitation by Md. Rashedul Islam and general secretary Master Maulana. The program started at 9:45 AM with the presentation of Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman.

The function was presided over by "Bandhan 2002" president and senior teacher of Chittagong Bandar Nimtala High School Muhammad Omar Farooq.
Maulana Belayt Hossain Talukder, the former principal of Katgarh Islamia Fazil Degree Madrasa and the current president of the governing body, was present as the chief guest.
Principal Maulana Abu Taib Mohammad Saleh was present as a special guest. Former Arabic lecturer Maulana A. K. M. Kamal Pasha, former Arabic lecturer Maulana A. M. M. Rafiqul Mawla.
Professor Gazi Nurul Alam, Maulana Khabirul Islam, former student council member Professor Mohammad Khademul Islam, Maulana Mahmud Ullah, orphanage supervisor Mohammad Rabiul, orphanage member Md. Javed Hossain Babar, Md. Surgeon Emlak were present among others.
