Hi all. Today I decided to share these photos with you. Calendula, or marigold as it is often called, is famous for its beneficial properties. The plant has a rich history: the medicinal properties of calendula are mentioned in manuscripts dating back to the 1st century AD. The herbaceous plant is grown on all continents; in Europe, the culture was even eaten as a filling for pies.
