By moulting habits

Put yourself in the other person's shoes.

Everyone has their own kryptonite.

This is a basic rule to succeed!

Empathize.

I recently heard a friend say "That video was funny, but so useless."

As a content marketer, I know how hard it is to create that video.

To build that reach.

To risk spending money on yourself.

To target potential clients and know that random people (who it's not targeted to) will hate it.

But that friend didn't get it until I told him all this.

You might say "Ah, it's just luck" & "right place at the right time."

What I see is "the work involved to get there."

Everything takes time.

In this game, patience is a skill.

Having a thick skin is a skill.

Having the ability to empathize is a skill.

Having the confidence to turn a disgruntled person into an advocate for the brand is a skill.

These aren't taught by "courses" and "schools."

These are learned by practicing!

By moulding habits!

By doing!

Whenever I hear "luck" uttered by someone for a success, I empathize with them too.

Because they haven't started practicing empathy.

And that is their kryptonite! image
