Step by Step guide to Trading on Ku Coin

Hey Guys,
This is a step by step guide to trading on Kucoin. It assumes that you already have already bought Bitcoin/ Etherum / Neo and now you are looking at using those to buy / trade other cryptos.

Ok. Now off to Kucoin

1. Create an account on Kucoin (email id, password, check your email and click on the verification link)

2. Kucoin uses a two step authenticator so download Google authenticator from playstore or app store. Scan the kucoin QR code for the Google Authenticator app to generate random codes

3. Login to Kucoin with your username/ mail id, password and the random code from the Google Authenticator App.

Congrats, you just logged in and this is Kucoin Homepage

Go to Assets -> Click on Deposit -> Select the cryptocurrency you have (bitcoin / ethereum) -> your corresponding wallet address will be generated

Now either scan or type your coin address into the wallet from where you have gotten bitcoin / ethereum in the first place and send amount.

It will take at least an hour for the currency to reflect in your Kucoin account. Once it gets reflected in your account you will be able to see it under your assets.

Click on anything you want to buy / sell -

For this guide we are gonna look at KCS / BTC pair, which means I can buy/sell KCS with BTC that you have deposited into your kucoin bitcoin wallet. Note: KCS - Kucoin tokens built on ethereum. You get a bit of the transaction fee that Kucoin exchange is making. It's the equivalent of investing in an index itself such as Nifty, Sensex, Nasdaq or Dow.

The market opens up. Don't be intimidated One step at a time remember!

Now as you can see, the bottom right corner asks for your two step code again. What do we do? Yep, you got that right..open the google authenticator app and key in the code. NOw the buy/sell portion is open for you.

Remember we clicked on KCS /BTC which means we are using Bitcoin as the currency.

Let us focus on the Buy KCS section.

Price indicates at what price of bitcoin you are willing to buy KCS..beginners please click "best price ..... BTC" which means you are willing to buy KCS at the best current price.

In the amount field enter the number of KCS you would like to buy. I like the slider because I can clearly see what % of my bitcoins I am willing to put into KCS. The slider has four dots meaning each dot is an incremental 25%. So try to set it between 0 & the first dot as in 12.5 % of your entire bitcoin goes into KCS. Just a suggestion.

Click Buy and that's it you have successfully bought KCS with bitcoins. You can go to your assets and check the dealt orders (orders that have gone though) and active orders (orders that are pending).
