Encounter in J&K's Kupwara: Soldier Killed, Army Major among 4 Injured

The BAT, comprising special forces personnel of the Pakistan Army and terrorists, was attempting to infiltrate the Indian territory. The Indian Army troops responded swiftly, triggering a gunfight that lasted for hours. While five soldiers were injured in the exchange, one soldier succumbed to his injuries.
The injured soldiers, including the Army Major, were evacuated to a base hospital for medical treatment. The condition of one of the injured soldiers was reported to be critical.
