Polkadot has seen an explosion in network use and Dapp development in the recent weeks. With much of the focus on Kusama thanks to the Hackathon šÆ
Acala is in phase three phase 3 of its testnet. Any one who has been taking part has been having fun with its robust platform.

There are still plenty of rewards still and as well the pleasure of taking part in the testnest of a growing new network.
My personal experience with Acala was a bit of a rough start, there is a walk through in the medium article linked above that helps you along, I just personally found it easier to use the mobile Polkadot wallet - Polkawallet.
Check it out:

The IU is seemless for interacting with the Acala testney and taking part in the bounties. The fuacet button is right in the wallet so that makes it easier for anyone not using discourd, and as well I found it was a little faster then the desktop.
Acala is pretty cool, they have alot offer Defi, especially its integration with Substrate and Polkadot.
I messed around a bit with the self funding loans
And as well swapped some of the aUSD into some RenBTC and DOT to earn % some interest via lending. šÆ
Its super easy to use via the Polkawallet, at least for me. Link to the desktop is here
You cannot buy Acala tokens at the moment, its in testnet and the only way to get Acala atm is to take part in the testnet via the bounties. So its really down to user engagement and how much you want from the experience.
You can also access Laminar through the Polkawallet, another defi porotocol being built on Substrate. They also have a faucet accessible via discord. If you make your wallet and search their discord - PolkaDefi - you'll see the faucet channel. Input !drip (wallet address) and it will show up in your Laminar wallet.
Alot of projects, major ones are already building on Substrate and will be huge partners of Polkadot ecosystem. Have a look for yourself if you want some confirmation.
Even that stinky Chainlink is on there but there is also Energy Web, Ren, ChainX, Edgeware, Ontology, Ocean Protocol, Zerochain and so much more.
In short I hope anyone who reads this takes some interest in Acala and plays around with its UI. Use the faucet and fund a loan then take some of that and buy some DOT or XBTC or RenBTC and then earn some interest on it!!
I hope the links I provided help guide anyone on their journey and as always take care and be safe.
