Kushi-katsu(skewers) is the famous food in Osaka. But there are many restaurants not only in Osaka but also in Tokyo, Kyoto and so on.

A skewer is a Japan food that sticks meat and vegetables in a skewer and is dressed in oil.

The price of a skewer is around 100 yen, so that it is a very popular dish in Japan.

Basically a skewer is eaten with sauce, but there is one rule what it is forbidden to dip a skewer to the sauce more than twice.

In most restaurant, the source is placed in a shared box. This is the reason why it is unhygienic to dip eating skewer to the sauce many times.

If you take care of it, please feel free to try it even if you are a foreign traveler.

In some restaurant, cabbage may come with you for free. In this case, the cabbage is free to refill.

I list a typical skewer menu below, so please try to refer to it when you order it.
