For years cannabis cultivators looked for one thing and one thing only, high THC. The research is in and the vital importance of cannabidiol, or CBD is well realized. CBD works in concert with THC to help reduce pain and inflamation to treat PTSD, to reduce anxiety it is helpful with epilepsy and may stimulate neurogenesis. The list goes on and more clinical trials are needed.
CBD acts as a THC regulator helping to make the effects last longer and have a smoother over all experience. The pain and inflammation relief is immediate upon smoking and far outlasts the euphoria. I would recommend a 1:1 ratio to start with as every individual will have a different experience.
As CBD rich strains start to become widely available give them a try. If your a regular smoker you will not be disappointed. If you are just starting out all the better to use high CBD flowers to avoid any unpleasent experiences.
