Concieved in 1991 by Ms. Tiffany Smith as a home for misplaced women, the sanctuary continues to provide a peaceful haven for those birds that seek a life of mutual respect, love, peace, and happiness.
The sanctuary is designed as a place for misplaced birds to be.
One often locates these misplaced creatures in the dens of bears, wolves, or hawks.
Where, though providing entertainment, they are used mainly as flesh to be gnawed to the bone and cast off as garbage along the littered trail of the predator.
The sanctuary is normally inhabited by Robins, Larks, Sparrows, the occasional Blue Jay or Oriole, and one Tom Turkey.
This turkey can be quite grumpy and cantankerous upon demand by those who's day requires it.
But, as life is good when surrounded by life's most beautiful creatures, he is normally quite jovial.
Though turkeys are amoung natures most intelligent creatures, this one, being a male, is prone to fall for the deceptions of the wicked.
Knowing this as he does, he will remove all who do not deal honestly with the others in the sanctuary.
'Ya'll don't have to be friends, but you will be friendly.'
All prospective members of the flock will be closely monitored for the proper qualities that separate her from the mediocrties of the general population.
Excessive anger will be dealt with appropriately.
Association with the flock will be terminated at the discretion of the of the tom after careful consultation with the aggrieved parties.
The tom will bend, but cannot allow the flock to be endangered by the irrational.
Banished birds will normally be welcome to return, with the proper attitude.
Once the prospect has shown herself to be peaceful, she must show initiative towards self-reliance.
Birds may be accepted 'as is' for a period of time as necessary to ensure proper health, but will not be allowed to be a parasite on the rest of the flock.
The survival of the flock will be ensured, and only through each Bird's effort to feed herself can this be possible.
With the advent of the Emporium, the sanctuary has branched off into untold number of services.
Body guard or zoo keeper have been the most popular with the clients.
However keepers of secrets and knowledge are found among the pharmacopia.
The Emporium is where one finds the hard good produced by members of the flock.
