Lake Moraine is located in Banff National Park, Canada and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
Located in the Rocky Mountains, in the province of Alberta, Canada, Lake Moraine is just 0.5 km² in area. As the surrounding landscape is of great scenic beauty, and its waters vary between green and blue colors, it is visited by about 4.5 million people annually, in the four seasons of the year. In summer, daylight extends until 11 pm. It is fed by a glacier. There is a small demarcated area, where tourists and the curious can enter the lake and see the landscape.
