Tranquility of Lake Bled. The Surreal Beauty of Nature.

Located amidst the mountains lies one of nature's biggest beauties, lake Bled. One can not fathom its true beauty, unless you see it with your own eyes. The ever present calmness and gusts of fresh air that come down from the nearby mountains are something to behold. It's ave-inspiring!

This wonder of nature is located in my home country - Slovenia, even though it's very small, it contains many jewels, such as the one you can see in the picture. It's a sight of inspiration to wary travelers that come here from all corners of the world.

In the middle of the lake lies the world-renown island, on which there is a church, not to mention you can marry your beloved one on the island itself, quite a memorable experience if one chooses to do so.

Along the lake's coastline there lies the oldest medieval castle in Slovenia, according to written sources it was first mentioned in 1011.

Moreover, along the shoreline there lies a small gravel road, which allows tourists to walk around the lake and enjoy its beauty. During summertime you can find many people jumping in the lake to cool themselves, even during autumn and summer there are some brave individuals that are willing to jump into the freezing water.

As you can see, the true intact nature and its beauty is something otherworldly. Lake Bled never ceases to amaze the common mind of people from all walks of life.

Some say Bled is even more beautiful during the winter time, when the snow falls and transforms the landscape into a white angelic landscape. If you would like to see more Bled pictures and how it looks under blanket of snow, I would be more than willing to oblige.
