The Spanish side of Valencia, Gonçalo Guedes, confirmed his team's ability to compete with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico in the Spanish league. "We believe in our ability to compete with them,
" Guedes said in an interview published in the Apolla newspaper. "We have already proved this. We have drawn two goals against Real Madrid and Barcelona with a goal."
The player admitted that winning the title was not a "real priority" for Valencia, although he said his team wanted to "reach the summit as soon as possible."
Valencia, currently under the leadership of Marcelino Garcia Torral, are third on 34 points, three points behind Real Madrid and defending champions.
"We have achieved a series of positive victories, the team is very good, but the issue will be difficult," he said.
