The Prophet said,
"The most important of the believers are those who have the best morals. The most intelligent believer is the one who remembers death the most and is best prepared for the afterlife. They are intelligent people." [Narrated by At-Tirmidhi from Ibn Umar radhiyallahu'anhuma, Ash-Shahihah no. 1384]
GOOD PRINCIPLES INCLUDE WISDOM TO GOD AND HIS SERVANTS
Ash-Shaykh As-Sindi rahimahullah said,
"Those who have good character are those who do their best in interacting with Allah and associating with humans, so that they become the most noble." [Haasyiah As-Sindi 'ala Ibni Maajah, 2/565]
THE NATURE OF INTELLIGENT PEOPLE
Ash-Shaykh Ibn Uthaimin rahimahullah said,
"This is truth and intelligence, that is, one who does good deeds for the life after death, because he in this world only passes for a short time, and his real abode is after death (in the land of the hereafter). If he does not care, while time passes, and he wastes -wasting it to do something that is not useful for the hereafter, then he is not an intelligent person." [Syarhu Riyadhis Shalihin, 1/508]
