But in the morning, members of Hindu Youth Force of Yogi Aditya Nath of Uttar Pradesh came to the university to protest against Jinnah's picture and the campus became upset. The students of the university's students came forward. Police also batonate to handle the situation later. At least 20 students were injured in this. At one stage, the Rapid Action Force was deployed at the university. Police said the situation is now calm. However Hamid Ansari was given the membership of life membership canceled.

Faisal Hasan, former president of the university's student community, told the media that Jinnah's picture has been from 1938. Now if the government asks to move the picture then it can be considered.
Meanwhile, public relations officer Saifi Kidwai told the media on Tuesday that Jinnah came to this university in 1938. He was given honorary degree at that time. Since then the film has been in the university. He also said that the first life membership of the university was given to Mahatma Gandhi on October 19, 1920. After independence, no national leader has ever asked for the removal of this picture.
