No, the gold is buried in deep inside the mountain rock.
A hint on upvotes: You can upvote postings older than 7 days but it won't count towards the authors reputation now will it generate a payout.
Note that you only have 10 upvotes per day, averaged over 5 days. You can make 11 upvotes one day and 9 the next. You can make more but then they won't generate a payouts.
It's still a nice gesture though.
