The landscape of Glaciers in the Lemaire channel

The Lemaire Channel is one of the most impressive channels on the Antarctic Peninsula. Its narrow passage is met by tall mountains on either side that seem to burst out from the edge of the water straight upwards. It is an amazing way to welcome people to the world of Antarctica. This shot we arrived at 6am at the entrance of our first day on the peninsula. So, basically, this is how we introduced a 100 guests to the coldest, driest & windiest continent on the planet.
