Landscapephotography contest: Turquoise waves of Thailand

Hey, Steemians!

This is my entry for today's #landscapephotography by @juliank:

Phi Phi Islands are some of the most beautiful places I've seen so far. Their lovely weather and sandy beaches are making them a perfect sunny destination. Out of the 7 islands, only Phi Phi Don has inhabitants.

From an administrative point of view, the islands belong to Krabi province, but can be reached by speedboat or long tail boats also from Phuket. Each island has its own charm. Also the coral reef is rich and with good visibility, being perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.

    Wow! unbelievable that you can take a very good photo with a smart phone! My Canon IXUS 189 and 200 could not do this! Ho!Ho!

      It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too. I will probably go there in a few years again, although the flights til there are so long - around 12 hours from Europe plus a layover somewhere in between.

      It's an Asus smartphone, but its camera is a lot better than some of the iPhone/Samsung models and even compared with some small compact cameras.

      The pic was taken from a speedboat :)
