If you have ever been to Tahoe then you know how beautiful it is year round. This is a smaller lake in South Lake Tahoe called Fallen Leaf Lake and it’s one of my favorite places to get photos of beautiful Mt Tallac.
Here is a 5 second exposure I captured with my Nikon D810 and Tokina 16-28 lens at f22
I set my iso at the lowest setting which on the D810 goes below ISO 100 which allows you to take longer exposures when it’s still quite bright out.
I use a shutter release cable to eliminate any camera shake which would reduce the sharpness of the image.
