A mountain with no name. #landscapephotography for @juliank

Here is just one of the many peaks in the San Juan Mountains between Silverton and Ouray, Colorado. I'm not sure what or even if it has a name but I am pretty sure that it is one of the state's many "14ers" meaning that it is at least 14,000 feet above sea level. That would be 4.26 kilometers above sea level for those of you that use that funky metric method of measurement.

I can see why. Metric is simple and logical but English measurements make no sense.

Very cool. I miss the mountains. Haven't been there since 2005. My brother lives in Alma, CO, about 30+ miles south of Breckenridge.
