Snow Covered Rocky Mountains on a Sunny Day

Looking northwest at the San Juan Mountains portion of the Colorado Rockies. The structure in the foreground at the bottom of the photograph is an old mine. I believe silver was the primary focus of the mining around this section of the western slope.

Nice shot! Gotta love the Rockies and all of the mining towns scattered through them. I live in Park City Utah which used to be a huge mining town turned ski town.

I moved to Salt Lake City in 2009 for a job. I was there for a four whole days.

I thought the mountains there were just spectacular. I never did make it to Park City. I should say, I haven't made it there just yet.
